# 1 - Use HTML Headers (and footers) that match your website
Viator offers a number of header options including a Logo (good), Graphical Header (better), and HTML Header (best!). The best converting Viator Partner sites are those that match the look and feel of their website with the Viator Partner site. If your Viator site doesnt match the look and feel of your website customers will wonder where they just got directed. We have found this to be the #1 issue why quality traffic does not convert into sales. Be sure to upload a non-secure AND a secure html header to increase sales conversions. # 2 - Use iFrame widgets to automate your Marketing
Having outdated product information and prices on your website will fustrate visitors. Our iframe widgets are dynamically updated and always provide vistors with the current price and product lists. # 3 - Feature Products that are newsworthy or topical
Our Best Partners actively update products listed on their websites based on the news, season, and events. Some of our New York City Partners had great success promoting the Sex and the City Tour during the same time as the SATC Movie Premere and again when the movie was launched on DVD. Displaying topical or season-based products on your website is a great way to leverage traffic.
# 4 - Add a focus on Special Offer products
Another way to drive sales is to highlight products on your website that are on sale or have special offers. You can find these listed under destination pages or by searching keywords with “special offer” (example: “Special Offer London “)- when searching, be sure to use your Viator Partner site so ensure your Partner ID is captured in the URL.
# 5 - General Links are ok, but Contextual Links are Best
Viator links that are contextual to your website text or page will increase sales conversion. General links will drive traffic, but the traffic will usually be VERY low converting. Here are some samples of contextual and general links:
